Pizza, Lasagna, Pasta, Chicken parmesan, you name it, this super simple recipe goes with them all. Minimum effort, Maximum flavour.

  1. One pot recipe: Cook the garlic in olive oil until browned. Add pureed canned and fresh tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Add some sugar to cut the sourness. Add roughly chopped basil leaves and give it a mix. Let this reduce for 25-30mins, on low heat. You can stop cooking at whichever stage you prefer, based on you thickness requirement.
  2. Refrigerate and store in an air tight container for upto a week.
